This unique exhibit offers perspectives on Indigenous sacred sites and their significance by reimagining paintings by pioneering artists who ventured to and depicted Maine between the late 18th and early 20th centuries.
- Additionally, the exhibit Capturing Her Environment: Women Artists, 1870-1930, opened in January. This exhibit showcases works by female artists who depicted their surroundings during that period.
- In February, join the museum is welcoming the exhibit, Anne Buckwalter: Manors. This exhibit continues the exploration of femininity and sexuality within domestic spaces.
- Another Wyeth family exhibit will come to the Farnsworth Art Museum in April. The Home Places: Andrew Wyeth, in Chadds Ford exhibit explores the artist’s lifelong dedication to painting old houses in his birthplace of Chadds Ford.
